Our Challenge
There are 5.7 million people in the US that are affected by Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to continue to grow. There are no medications available that address the key symptoms or slow disease progression. In collaboration with leading experts in the field of Alzheimer's research and clinical care, we developed a digital platform to collect patient-reported outcomes (PRO) data from those with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia.
Our Solution
vitalz is an easy-to-use mobile app that captures day-to-day symptoms of those living with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia. Health care professionals can access these data through a secured portal to keep track of symptoms and disease progression over time. The vitalz platform also connects those living with these conditions to their circle of support. Family or friends (“care partners”) can track symptoms and disease progression, and can make sure their loved one stays safe using the GPS locator feature, called “vitalzoneTM.” Our innovative user design model ensures that the vitalz platform will seamlessly support patients and care partners, no matter where they are on their journey together.
